Dorothy A. Dahm has been interested in children’s biographies ever since a biography of Amelia Earhart inspired her and a friend to write poems about the pioneering aviatrix when they were ten years old. In 2008, she earned a MA in Professional Writing from University College Falmouth in Cornwall, England. She has written for publications and businesses on both sides of the Atlantic. At present, she is working on middle-grade and picture-book biographies. In May 2014, she appeared on a panel about biographies for young adults at Biographer International Organization’s annual conference. She lives in Vermont with her cat, Mandy, and teaches English at Castleton State College. Contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
